Wild Timber

A Slice of Heaven along the Chattahoochee

At Wild Timber, Fairgreen Development pioneered a new kind of community — a hiking community with private parklands and miles of woodland trails that delight the eyes and often challenge the body. After all, it wouldn't be Fairgreen without miles and miles of nature trails and acres of preserved green space.

The Wild Timber hiking experience is second to none. The nearly 4 miles of carefully planned hiking trails through Wild Timber's 83-acre Carolyn Boyd Hatcher Parklands, lead residents through greenbelts, across creeks and conservation areas, around a lake, and beside natural rock outcroppings. They discover beautiful focal points – picnic parks, resting areas, footbridges, arbors, benches, boardwalks and overlook areas where they can truly appreciate the view. They stroll along the shores of the Chattahoochee River and Lake Wildwood, taking in the sights and sounds of the pristine conservation areas of Wild Timber. It's like having a national park in their backyard!

The wealth of amenities that are nestled into this woodland terrain is surprising. As members of the Wild Timber Cabin Club, homeowners enjoy a 4,500 square-foot, two-story log cabin clubhouse with panoramic views from wrap-around decks overlooking the swim club and tennis center. Wild Timber introduced another concept to Atlanta — many of its Craftsman and Traditional designs are built within the strict guidelines of EarthCraft House™, one of the nation's foremost green building programs.
